Spring Iaido Special 5 Japanese Sword Classes $120
Iaido is the art of drawing, manipulating and re-sheathing a Japanese type sword. This art is not as stressful as Aikido, yet gives a reasonable workout. The practice is good for posture, coordination, mental concentration and focus. This also teaches sword handling, care and maintenance. This knowledge correlates directly with handling live (sharp) blades, which are obviously dangerous. For this school, this knowledge is a prerequisite for Batto (actual cutting) classes. The base rate is $25 per class. 5 classes for $120 which is $5 off the standard price for a 4% discount. Classes are 1 hour long, 6pm-7pm Mondays and Wednesdays and 12:00-1:00pm on Saturday afternoons. This length of time does not over stress the arm or cause undue fatigue. Ages appropriate for these classes are 13 to 80 or more depending on maturity and fitness levels.
