Self-Defense Classes (Mini-Seminar) Request Form

Aikido of Gainesville has developed effective Aikido based techniques for self-defense. We teach in small groups. All of our self-defense mini-seminars have a small ratio of students to instructors. You will repeat the techniques many times so they become part of your 'Body Memory.' You will be offered the opportunity to 'test' what you have learned. You will be offered the opportunity to experience what happens if a technique doesn't work the first time and what to do next.
We teach you how to ESCAPE to LIVE. We don't teach how to 'fight;' we teach how to SURVIVE.
Our self-defense classes teach you HOW to handle a larger, stronger attacker, they teach about the physiology of fear and how to work through it.
Self-defense classes require a minimum of 6 participants to be scheduled. We can teach groups as large as 20.
Aikido of Gainesville can teach at our dojo or at your place of business (there will be added fees for moving mats). If you or your company desires a self-defense class at your facility we will bring appropriate gymnastics quality mats and all needed accessories provided your space is adequate.
Aikido of Gainesville carries insurance for on-site instruction and can provide 'Face Sheets' proving coverage if needed.

Mini-seminars last from 2.5 to 4.5 hours including short breaks.
