This offer is the same for Kids, Teens or Adult Aikido Classes or Iaido (Japanese sword) Classes. 4 Classes for $ 75.
Adult Classes are 1 hour long. Aikido for the Kids and Teens are still 1 ½ hour long with usual water breaks on the 1/2 hour. For the Adults the break comes around 30 minutes depending on the pace of the class. If the practice is very lively or hot, we break at the half hour.
For most beginners the focus is on simple anti-bully techniques. As proficiency improves more traditional Aikido techniques are taught. Advanced practice includes Nishio Style techniques and more weapons practice. More and More Nishio Style techniques are taught from the third test and above.
For relatives and friends who buy classes there is a $5 discount or 2 extra classes for each relative or friend.
Iaido Classes are 1 hour long. Beginning classes focus on various methods of drawing and re-sheathing, usually two classes. Then, students start to learn the Aiki-Toho Katas. When these 15 katas have improved, we start expanding to Toyama-Ryu Hon Iaido Batto Katas.
